Russian Electric Vehicles, from the 19th Century to Today
The concept of the electric car was first born in the United States in 1832, but it wasn’t until the late 19th century that some convincing trials actually emerged. At the same period, Russia had also developed some electric-powered vehicles (initially communal or commercial vehicles) with varying degrees of success, before joining the circle of modern-day electric vehicle manufacturers.
